On September 28th of 2017 easics was present on a workshop focused on the Arria 10 SoM developed by ReflexCES: the Achilles development kit. The workshop took place at the French offices of Intel PSG, located in Meudon near Paris.

Prior to the hands-on exercises, Intel PSG presented their newest innovations and roadmap. The presentation was focused on the Arria 10 and Stratix 10 FPGA’s. Following this introduction, ReflexCES presented their new product portfolio based on the Arria 10 and Stratix 10 FPGA’s. Next the workshop included some practical exercises to discover the ReflexCES ACHILLES SoM, which is based on Intel PSG’s Arria 10 FPGA’s.

At easics we are currently working on an ICON project on design methodology of multimedia applications. For this project we are integrating the ACHILLES SoM on a custom PCB, which is developed in-house. With this project we are building and updating our expertise, with a strong focus on multimedia applications. Attending this workshop fits nicely in the objective of building our knowledge on the current state-of-the-art FPGA development.
